Right after desk and user research, I focus on producing rapid high-fidelity prototypes. This supports short product cycles, enabling the team to frequently align and gather user feedback. Drafting early components for the design system happens in this stage.

From the Arts & Humanities to UX Design — My Journey So Far.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in User Experience Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). As a designer, I am curious about understanding human experiences and communicating them through design. In my work, I try to balance aesthetics, usability, and emotion to build products that are visually appealing, highly usable, and pleasant to use.
My background in the Arts and Humanities has equipped me with the intellectual rigor to tackle ambiguous problems, reduce them to simple patterns, and craft workable solutions. Desk research and writing are valuable transferable skills, with the latter enabling me to frame problems through compelling storytelling.
I am driven to leverage my skills to solve people and business problems. With proficiency in industry-standard tools and interdisciplinary training, I aim to bring an enriched perspective to UX Design.

Usability testing is key to a user-centered product. Meaningful insights come from empathy, as well as knowledge of HCI principles and usability engineering. A well-laid test plan is, of course, foundational.
(03)
Iteration is my favorite part of the design process, as it directly involves problem-solving. Much like art connoisseurship or detective work, effective iteration requires skill and insight—proficiency in Figma and a strong understanding of UX heuristics.

It starts with the grid, followed by the typeface set perfectly with the grid lines, creating a rhythm for the deck. Storytelling precedes filling the canvas with information. And as the saying goes, one's design is only as good as one's communication—presentation design is an essential part of a designer's toolkit.

A system—whether for visual identity or digital interfaces—is the foundation of a robust product. A designer well-versed in front-end development and systems thinking empowers productive work. This is the kind of designer I strive to become!
